Hello, world! This is the homepage of the CS50 Educator Workshop 2022. Though we would ordinarily hold the workshop in person, this year will mark the third year we do so virtually. We're excited about bringing together familiar faces from around the globe! 👋🌍

🎈 About the workshop

The reason for our gathering

We’ve been hard at work over the past year developing new tools and curricular materials. This summer, learn about Visual Studio Code (VS Code) for CS50 at https://code.cs50.io/, CS50’s new IDE in collaboration with our friends at GitHub, as well as about GitHub Classroom, a new tool for managing student assignments. Along the way, you’ll hear from teachers like you who’ve adopted and adapted CS50 in their own classrooms.

What you can expect to learn

In this workshop, you can expect to engage with other educators who have adapted CS50x and CS50 AP in compelling ways, to share the changes you've made in your own implementation of the course, and to leave with a few "teaching gems" that serve as inspiration for your own classroom. If you’re new to CS50, welcome aboard! You’ll have many opportunities to learn about how to begin teaching CS50, too.

Who this workshop is for

This workshop is for all teachers, those just beginning to teach CS50 and those who have several years of experience.

Continuing Education Credits

If you attend all sessions of the workshop, you will receive a certificate for 1 Continuing Education Credit/Unit (or "CEU"). In the United States, these credits can be used toward the renewal of a teacher's license, or to satisfy annual professional development requirements—subject to your state's local requirements.
